About me 

Hi, my name is Anna. Originally from Poland, I’m based in London, where I live with my husband and our two sons.

My background is in the Arts, and I hold two postgraduate degrees:

🎓 MFA in Visual Arts, The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design, Wrocław, Poland, 2008.

Symbian World

Early in my career, I created artwork for the Symbian brand, and some of that work was selected for AOI’s Best of British Illustration in 2011. I’ve always been drawn to both expressive and analytical ways of thinking. That duality has shaped my path. While at Symbian Foundation, I discovered interaction design and mobile UX. Product design has been my core profession since.

What I have done in product design. I went on doing my own project and working in house for tech companies. Product and process facilitation. I am currently with Microsoft.

UXdrawer

I’ve also kept drawing as both a personal creative outlet and a social practice, finding ways to weave visual storytelling into my design process. I started a dedicated project to highlight these intersections. You can learn more at my site, uxdrawer.com.

Some of my favourites

In the last few years, becoming a mother reconnected me with the world of childhood stories and imagination that I’ve always loved. It gave me a joyful reason to dive back into picture books, animation, and illustrated narratives. A moment that naturally led me toward book illustration.
